Bio
Before joining Princeton in 2022, I received a BA in ancient history and classics from Carleton College (Northfield, MN) and an MA in Greek from the University of Colorado Boulder. My research falls broadly within the literary culture of ancient Greece and its reception, particularly Homer, Aristophanes, the Second Sophistic, papyrology, antiquarianism, and the history of Homeric scholarship and philology. A side interest of mine lies in the cultural and intellectual history of the Italian Renaissance. I have participated in programs in Germany (Universität zu Köln), Italy (Università degli Studi della Basilicata), and Greece (archaeological projects in Nemea and northwest Attica). Feel free to reach out if you have interests in or questions about any of the above.
