Bio
Before joining the Classics department in 2018, Nick received a BA from the College of the Holy Cross (Worcester, MA) and an MA from the University of Notre Dame (IN) and spent a halcyon year at Leiden University on a Fulbright. He is interested in Late Antique and Byzantine literature broadly. He is currently writing his dissertation on allegorical interpretation and its social vision in Greek literature of the fourth and fifth centuries. He also has interests in written media in general (especially through sigillography, numismatics, and palaeography). Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions about or interest in studying the postclassical world at Princeton.
