Christoph Begass

Christoph Begass is an Associate Professor at the University of Mannheim and is currently a Visiting Fellow of the Department of Classics. After studying Ancient History, Latin, Philosophy, and German, he received his MA and doctorate from the University of Tübingen. While at Princeton, he will mainly focus on a study of how provincial cities in the eastern Mediterranean engaged with the self-fashioning of the Emperor Hadrian.
