Bio/Description

I am the Department’s bibliographer in Firestone Library, responsible for purchasing books, journals and electronic resources in support of its teaching and research and for assisting faculty and students alike in accessing and using these resources. I am always happy to meet with students, especially with those working on junior papers or senior theses. My regular office hours are Tuesdays, 2-4, but feel free to contact me for an appointment at any other time as well.

I came to Princeton in 2009 after 10 years as the Byzantine Studies Librarian at the University of Notre Dame. I have a BA in Latin from the University of Minnesota and Masters from the Harvard Divinity School and Simmons College. My scholarly interests are Byzantine literature, philosophy and science, and in particular the life and work of the 11th century polymath, Michael Psellos.

Please see my on-line guide, Library Resources for Classics, for a convenient access point to the Library’s rich offerings in Classics.
