Bio
I am a senior pursuing the Classical Studies track in the department. My junior-year research projects examined different problems of mythography in ancient Greek literature and their reception, and my thesis will explore how myths relating to craft and birth shape conceptions of difference along gendered and racialized axes. I'm also interested in ancient religion and literary reception, and am fascinated with how comic books retell myth (and write their own). Outside of academics, I spend my time on campus as a mentor for the HUM sequence and a committee leader for Students for Prison Education, Abolition and Reform (SPEAR).
