Bio
I received my bachelor’s degree in Classics with a minor in English from Harvard College (2015). My undergraduate thesis examined the reception of Petronius in the early 20th century, focusing on the American modernists F. Scott Fitzgerald and T.S. Eliot. I proceeded to study for an MSt in Greek and Latin Languages and Literature at Oxford (2016) on a Henry Fellowship, writing a dissertation that examined Ezra Pound’s Homage to Sextus Propertius as a response to the traditions of philology that Pound would have encountered in his student days. A revised version of this dissertation has seen publication in Classical Receptions Journal, and is available here.
I joined the PhD program at Princeton in the fall of 2016. I am currently in the concluding phases of a dissertation on Petronius' Satyrica.
