Description

Khameleon Productions, co-sponsored by the Brown Arts Institute, presents the Uprooting Medea tour.

The four-month tour, produced by BAI Visiting Artist Shivaike Shah, will commence at Brown, and will visit 30 leading colleges and universities across 12 states. Khameleon will visit classes, lead workshops and participate in roundtable conversations.

Khameleon Productions was founded in 2020. Their Medea , written by Francesca Amewudah-Rivers and Shah, reimagines Euripides’s tragedy with an all-global majority cast and crew, and features original work commissioned by the company.

Khameleon will return to Brown in May to host a virtual gathering for participating institutions.
