The Department of Classics has limited funding to support faculty research, and co-sponsorship for conferences, workshops/reading groups, lectures, performances, and similar events.

Deadlines

Funding for summer and fall semester projects — April 15
Funding for spring semester projects — October 15

• Application for Magie and other equivalent funding (for use by Classics faculty and staff only)
• Application for Cull Funds (Classics Faculty Only)

The Department of Classics seeks proposals for projects led by students or arising out of faculty-student collaborations in line with departmental diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Proposals may be submitted by undergraduates and graduates, and collaboration is encouraged. Proposals will be reviewed by the Equity Committee.
